Feeling all like I don’t want to be a teacher again today! This time not cos the pupils are being crap, but because I’ve just had my first observation. The observation went fine, and Helen (course leader) was encouraging and all. Just she made me realise the sheer amount of paperwork, and general work, that goes into planning a lesson the way I’m meant to. And that’s before you add in the assignments and HAVING A LIFE!
Ah well, feeling better now, have at least clarified what I’m meant to put in which boxes on the forms.
Have Year 7 Parents’ Evening tonight, joy! Then off to dinner with Duncan and Joy!
Oh, this weekend is birthday weekend, so I’m making the most of it (don’t I always). Plan is:
Friday (latish eve) – meal @ Scruffy’s for all interested
Saturday (eve) – pubbage @ The Grove for all interested
Sunday (arvo & eve) – long session with coursemates
Monday (eve) – Lord of the Rings:The Two Towers: Extended Edition (assuming I get it for my birthday, which I might not. In which case something else) at my house for a select bunch… probably just the 243a lads.
