Ding dong! hehe.
Well, here I am at Debbie’s with my first entry of 2003! Thought I’d wait until January 1st was over, so I don’t seem sad (I try and avoid that at all costs, but I fear having a blog might be too much of a giveaway!)
Last night was “fun but quiet” according to Rob and Simon… I’d go along with that. Good to see Simon again (and Ganesh, Van and Jon) and he’s got a very nice house indeed. Jealous 🙁
Today started with a fry-up… yummm! What a start to my new-year’s resolution of losing weight! Then we sat around playing games for a bit and eventually left to come here.
Got here, chatted for a bit, ate lovely roast lamb for dinner, chatted lots more and then went to the pub. I think I’ve only had 2 nights where I haven’t been to the pub since I’ve been back – and one was last night when I still had nice beer to drink (the other being when I stayed in to watch my Special Edition Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring DVD). Hmm, alcoholic? me? Maybe I should make that a resolution! No, not to cut down, but to go to a pub once a day for a whole year! Yeah, sounds good. Although may conflict with my other resolution!
Anyway, best go since I’m being anti-social here. Mmmm open fire… so… so… restful…. zzzzz
