This is a quick entry again.
Last week I was away in Scotland with the Navs for their sumemr conf. The speaker was Dean Truog who has worked all over the place in lots of different jobs, and is now working for the Navs with the US Senate, arranging their prayer meetings (as you do). He told us a whole bunch of stories from his life that illustrated good points. A different but easy-to-listen-to style.
So what was the big points from the week?
– Labelling people isn’t helpful.
– Asking people what they believe is much better than over-defending your position.
– God is more interested in developing me as a person than what “results” I get. (no, really!)
Sorry this didn’t happen sooner.
